Sundays, my day, Church Today

Okay, it's Sunday. It's cloudy, Ironic? Naw. I love Sundays because I get to dress up and not feel stupid. It's accepted that I be dressed up. Taking pictures just gives me another incentive to look nice.

I'm wearing a 50's style black dress with white polka dots, a red ribbon around the waist, a red slower over my heart, and red lace peeking out the bottom (VV). I am also wearing a white undershirt from Target and my amazing hat from Claire's (I couldn't find my black on *pouty face*). I got the white heels from Pay Less.

I changed. Into a turquoise Abercrombie shirt and my trusty pants (which couldn't make it into the web cam photo...), and I by no means sat in caramel 5 minutes later and hat to change into sweats.

*cough*

:D

Grey Sunday

I think there's some hidden rule about it being cloudy on Sundays in Anchorage. Not like I'm going to complain. It's more fun to dress up for rain than sunshine. Lots of cute rain jackets and romantic umbrellas.

I like to think of this outfit as Office Secretary + Jane from Tarzan + something I'm allowed to wear out of the house.

(I can't actually play piano, but sometimes I pretend I can to annoy my brother)

This is my new favorite shirt.

Dull as an empty candy wrapper

Can you say "Boring as sorting screws"? It was cloudy and kind of cold. We were going to be running errands all day. I didn't particularly feel like wearing anything of interest.

I look pregnant.

Old hat, New Hat, Red Hat, Blue Hat

I love Dr. Suess. And by the looks of Elle's shirt, she does too.

This is me, in the same outfit as earlier today, but with a different hat. The hat slipped, so it looks almost like a beany, but it's a beret, I swear. I am also wearing some awesomazing black, purple and blue whatchamacallems....erm...they is from Value Village, and a necklace given to me by a friend (origin unknown).

I am back baby!

Note to self...

Note to stupid-idiotic-impatient-self: Don't ever try and cut your own bangs again.

Yes. I cut my bangs. Aren't they lovely?

Not.

I'll get over it eventually. I had to take my picture with a webcam, so I didn't get my whole outfit.

Just so you know, I'm wearing a white shirt with gray flowers on it (Onion Day in Utah), my wonderful jeans (Value Village), hoop earrings (courtesy of my sister), and a friendship ring (from Claire's). Oh, and my hat from Claire's.

It's summer, gosh darn it!!

Guess what!!

*smug grin* I did laundry.

You can ignore the fact that it's in a large pile on my floor...

*clears throat awkwardly* I HAVE CLEAN CLOTHES!!!! For this, I am very pleased.

*whispers* If you leave laundry in the dryer, Mum folds it all nicely and sets it on your bed. THANK YOU MOTHER!!! <3

After dancing around my room in glee over the smell of detergent, I looked outside. It was sunny. My window was open. There was the slightest breeze.

It's summer. I'm in heaven.

In celebration of the best season of all time, I chose shorts (don't mind that my mum thinks they're too short. This girl needs a tan) and a nice flowing top.

I'm off to go ride my bike and read a good romance novel in the sunshine.

Anybody seen the camera? Anybody? Bueller?

So....my first camera goes "I wanna get sand in me and stop working" when I took it with me dip-netting. So...it's history. And my brother's camera (I am of course assuming) got taken with him to Utah...so, that leaves me my mothers $1,000 dollar camera (rounded down, I think), and my $70 dollar camera I got when I was 10. Hmmm...*takes hand carefully away from the very expensive have-to-pay-for-if-I-break-it camera, and grabs...* where's my little red camera?

It conveniently disappeared between yesterday's pictures and today. I searched helplessly through this ginormous three-story-house, and have not found a trace of it. In despair (and at 10:30 at night), I stop my search, after a long sunny HOT day, I was (and am) completely disheveled. Maybe tomorrow I'll find it and put on the clothes again just for the pictures....

Watch: I won't find the camera.

I am in the pit of despair without my camera. No joke.

Yes, I know you don't miss seeing me, and Elle is much more interesting to look at, but at least pretend to like my pictures, hmmm?

Nighty night

I changed...

I got bored. I went on a bike ride. 'Nuff said.
(Yes. I do the awkward foot pop a lot)

National Let's See If We Can Make Ourselves Look Half Our Age Day

You all can hate me, but today. I barely tried at all. I have to do laundry. I have relatives coming in *glances at clock* less than an hour. It's a bad hair day and a bad face day. By the time I got around to taking pictures, the sun was too high. So. You will have to live with these mediocre pictures of an even more mediocre out fit. I'm not even wearing earrings.

And now, a song.

Let's get fancy

Okay, I thought it would be fun to wear something fancy today, so I went searching through my clothes. I mentioned how all my clothes are dirty, right? Well, I still haven't gotten around to washing them *coughing fit*.

Soooooo.....I tried on several semi-nice semi-casual shirts, and finally settled on this:

I'm wearing my gray and white speckled shirt (JC Penny), my amazing jeans (Go Value Village!), a pair of black stilts (aka, heels, from Value Village), my wonderful and ever present rubber bands (um....various places), a gray trilby with flowers on it (thanks to my little brother who gave it to me for Christmas, from Claire's), and finally, my little brother's suit coat, which added some flair.

Unfortunately, I found out a little while ago, that I'll have to change, because I'm going golfing tonight for a youth activity.

Stay tuned for those pictures ;)

I need to do laundry

So I woke up this morning, yawned, and said "Hmm... What shall I wear today?"

After digging through the piles of clothes on the floor and flipping t
hrough the few things that were hanging up, I came to the conclusion that today was going to be a skirt day(This had nothing to do with the fact that all the jeans I like are dirty. Nothing at all). After locating the skirt I got on monday(Yes. It was from Value Village), I
began my search for a top. After finding an off white cap sleeved t-shirt-esque thing, I went up stairs to get more coffee. It was then that I realized the back of the shirt was see-through.

And then I spilled coffee on the front.

*sigh*

This is the next outfit I came up with.
Not like it would be a problem that it barely covered my butt... (Skirt: Value Village, Belt: Value Village, Cardigan: yard sale)

Needless to say, that outfit didn't come out of my room.

Goal: Find something I'd be allowed to wear out of the house.

Attempt 3:

It would be fine if it was Sunday and I was, say, 10 years older.

NEXT!!!

I gave up after this. It's kinda something my mother would wear and it is completely impractical for the long list of chores I have and the bike ride I wanna go on later. BUT I LIKE IT!!

Skirt: Value Village
Tanktop: Yardsale
Cardigan: Value Village
Belt: Value Village
Necklace: Yardsale.

I'm as predictable as a Disney movie.

Anywho. I'll shut up now.

Elle's Outfit Numero Uno

So after staring at the vast void of my closet, I decided upon a white cap-sleeved t-shirt(thrift store), an uberly comfy blue cardigan(thrift store), bootcut jeans(wait for it.... thrift store), a brown belt(you guessed it: thrift store), a bronze envelope necklace(no, it was a birthday present), and converse(not pictured, thrift store).

Bri's outfit #1 and counting

I'm wearing a construction yellow Hanes heavyweight t-shirt (adult small), that I got from an Engineer Day at UAA, black leggings (cut at the knee) that are from a thrift store, I'm barefoot, I have dog tags from the local fair on, and I have a pair of blue earrings on (from good old Wally World). I wore this basically because all my clothes were dirty, and it's cute yet comfortable.
